ORNL Network Outage

All externally accessible ORNL servers, including the ORNL DAAC Web Site, http://daac.ornl.gov are experiencing network outages or slow connectivity at this time. The ORNL Information Technology's Cyber Security Program is working hard to restore full external functionality.

We apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your patience during our down time.

At this time you can explore our Web site and access data products including MODIS Land Products Subsets, albeit slowly. The following tools:

  • Mercury (Simple Search and Advanced Product Search)
  • WebGIS
  • Spatial Data Access Tool (SDAT)
  • Thematic Real-time Environmental Distributed Data Services (THREDDS) Data Server (TDS)

  • as well as the following Web Sites:
  • Mast-DC
  • FLUXNET
  • are not available.
You may experience problems signing-in or registering with our Web site. Our User Services Office is receiving email at uso@daac.ornl.gov, however we will not be able to respond to you until the ORNL Firewall is re-opened.
