The Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) Distributed Active Archive Center (DAAC) funded by NASA is pleased to present the Winter 2012 issue of the ORNL DAAC Newsletter. This semiannual newsletter announces the release of 19 new data sets including two inaugural North American Carbon Program (NACP) data sets: ECHIDNA Lidar Campaigns: Forest Canopy Imagery and Field Data U.S.A., 2007-2009 and NACP New England and Sierra National Forests Biophysical Measurements: 2008-2010. The 17 additional data sets include 13 from The Large-Scale Biosphere-Atmosphere Experiement in Amazonia and 4 from the International Satellite Land Surface Climatology Project, Initative II.
