The ORNL DAAC has retired the DOI search feature that was part of the ORNL DAAC Website Search Tool. The decision to retire this feature was based on low usage and user confusion about the feature's purpose.
Users interested in seeing articles that cite ORNL DAAC data can find that information through the project landing pages and the dataset landing pages. Each Project's landing page has a "Publications citing ..." link in the upper right corner. For example, the "Publications Citing Daymet" link on https://daac.ornl.gov/daymet/ leads to a page showing papers citing any of the Daymet datasets or which refer more generally to using Daymet data.
For users interested in papers citing a specific dataset, the summary table at the top of each page has a row for Citations. If that row is missing from the summary table, then the ORNL DAAC has not yet found any citations for this specific dataset. Where we have found citations, the link in that row displays a list of those papers that cite this specific dataset. For example, the Citations row on https://doi.org/10.3334/ORNLDAAC/1840 shows the number of papers citing Daymet: Daily Surface Weather Data on a 1-km Grid for North America, Version 4 and leads to a page listing those specific papers.
