If you're attending the 105th Annual Meeting of the Ecological Society of America (ESA) virtually this year, please consider attending WK: 33 - NASA Data Made Easy: Tools for the Ecological Data Revolution organized and moderated by Sarah H. Lubkin of NASA Headquarters.
This workshop focuses on NASA resources designed to support ecologists and features presentations on the NASA Earthdata website, ORNL DAAC and LP DAAC data and tools, and geospatial resources for NASA Earth Science data.
Dr. Jessica Welch will walk participants through access to ecology resources on the ORNL DAAC website and demonstrate the following tools:
Dr. Welch is a data scientist at the ORNL DAAC who leads science focus for multi-decadal time series of vegetation chlorophyll fluorescence and derived gross primary production datasets. Don't be surprised if you find this ecologist at ESA sessions on bats or invasive species—those were her dissertation research subjects!
