The Earth Science Data and Information System (ESDIS) Project manages the operations of EOSDIS including Distributed Active Archive Centers (DAACs) like the ORNL DAAC.

Beginning Tuesday, March 17, 2020, the ORNL DAAC's social media content will be delivered through the NASA EarthData accounts. The ORNL DAAC will continue to publish news about ORNL DAAC datasets and services through our web site and RSS feed, and now through the Earthdata Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube accounts. No new material will be posted on the old ORNL DAAC Twitter, Facebook, or YouTube accounts.

The ORNL DAAC is one of twelve Distributed Active Archive Centers (DAACs) managed by NASA's Earth Science Data and Information System (ESDIS) Project. More broadly, the ORNL DAAC accounts were one of 300 different sets of accounts across the NASA Science Mission Directorate. NASA is consolidating social media along science themes, rather than organizations, to make it easier for people to find relevant information.

Please continue to learn more about all of the DAACs and the ESDIS Project through the NASA Earthdata web site and its associated social media feeds for Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube .
