Fly Along with ACT-America

Video on YouTube shows the ACT-America plane in flight

This Fly Along video shows the ACT-America aircraft in flight over Pennsylvania in July 2016. The circles behind the aircraft represent carbon dioxide measurements taken continuously during the flight.

A new video allows you to fly along with the team on an ACT-America flight:

The NASA-funded ACT-America campaign is conducting hundreds of flights across the United States to better track greenhouse gas movement throughout the atmosphere. The Oak Ridge National Laboratory Distributed Active Archive Center (ORNL DAAC) is archiving this data and making it available to the public through visualization tools like this one.

For more information and to access the data, visit the ACT-America project page.
