Starting October 15, 2021, the ORNL DAAC will no longer provide Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) Application Programming Interface (API) access to MODIS Collection 6 Land Product Subsets. In May of 2018, we began providing subsetting services using a Representational State Transfer (REST) protocol, and we have developed a rich REST-based Global Subset API User Interface .
Tutorials and Code that demonstrate how to use these services are available on the MODIS and VIIRS Land Products Subsets RESTful Web Service landing page and on our Learning Resources Page.
