NASA’s Applied Remote Sensing Training Program (ARSET) has opened a new open, online introductory webinar series: Disaster Assessment Using Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR). This 3-part training, delivered in English and Spanish, will focus on the use of SAR to: assess areas at risk from disasters due to landslides through the use of Interferometric SAR (INSAR); characterize the extent of oil spills and their impacts; and characterizing flood inundation extent.
