New Single Pixel Extraction Tool and API
The Daymet Single Pixel Extraction Tool has an improved user interface and has been rebuilt on an OpenAPI specification.
Users can now enter any Start Date and End Date within the Daymet temporal range. Previously, only full year subsets were available.
Automation of Multiple Downloads
The popular Single Pixel Multiple Extraction script has been improved and expanded. Users provide a text file of lat/lon pairs and easily download data. Users can now choose to download a subset of Daymet variables and can provide customer file names.
URL Requests Built On-The-Fly
Within the new interface for the Daymet Extraction Tool, a request URL is dynamically populated while a user builds a single pixel query. Through the Single Pixel Web Service,
cURL command line tools can be invoked and downloads further automated. Sample methods are provided to automate batch downloads.
The Daymet Single Pixel Extraction Tool has been rebuilt on an OpenAPI specification. The API documentation provides an overview of available functions and required parameters.
