All Daymet Version 4 collections have been now been updated to include calendar year 2021.
Access to all local delivery methods for the the Daymet V4 Daily data is available from the Daymet Project Website's Get Data Page.
Daymet provides long-term, continuous, gridded estimates of daily weather by interpolating and extrapolating ground-based observations through statistical modeling techniques. The Daymet data products provide driver data for biogeochemical terrestrial modeling and have myriad applications in many Earth science, natural resource, biodiversity, and agricultural research areas. Daymet weather variables include daily minimum and maximum temperature, precipitation, vapor pressure, shortwave radiation, snow water equivalent, and day length produced on a 1 km x 1 km gridded surface over continental North America and Hawaii from 1980 and over Puerto Rico from 1950 through the end of the most recent full calendar year.
Access to all Daymet collections may be accessed through the ORNL DAAC Daymet Project Page. Additionally, Daymet Version 4 collections are available in Earthdata Cloud and accessible through Earthdata Search for download. Users Working in the US-West-2 region of Amazon Web Services (AWS) can use Direct S3 Access to work with these datasets without having to download them.
